Design development begins with a business plan addressing core needs for the assortment and ends with beautiful finished product. 

Broadly, the art director’s role includes reviewing line balance, brainstorming and research, pitching concepts and partnering with artists and in-house creative partners to execute.

ADs are a key conduit between leadership, product management/development and artists, illustrators, graphic designers, production artists and editorial. 

The everyday assortment focuses on cards but also includes stationery, gift packaging, office and party goods. Card designs range from the large key captions (hello, birthday!) to smaller niche captions such as get well and sympathy.
