ARTIST BRIEF

The clash of technology and a blurring of borders—set against an ecological reckoning—pave the way for a generation of digital nomads, compassionate rebels and bold explorers.

The punk movement of the 1970’s embraced rejection (of the establishment, conformity). Future rebels will be driven less by repudiation and more by collectivism—inspired by eastern philosophies—as a response to self-serving individualism.

CONCEPT

There are three main archetypes for this story:

DIGITAL PILGRIMS advocate for social responsibility via innovative channels that speak to a new generation. Find inspiration in tech - lasers, pixels, screens and the din of neon lights.

NEW EXPLORERS are adaptive and utilitarian. Explore recycled/re-purposed material textures and deadstock. Embrace the similarities between high performance fabrics and traditional wovens, playing with high-low effects. Partner earth and muddy tones with pops of intense color.

REBEL RIOTERS have a deep respect for legacy and are community-minded. Infuse heritage pattern with bold neons, deep blacks, iridescence and metallics
